Kids and Teen Classes:
Afterschool Drawing with Carla
Join us for an in person Drawing Class for teens once a week for 6 weeks - ages 11+ welcome - Join us for an adventure of creativity and bring your favorite people, places and things to life! This class focuses on furthering individual styles while dabbling into new ones. From iconic characters to dynamic scenes, our class cultivates a passion for drawing while refining core artistic skills. Supplies included
Online art class for ages 7-12
Students will learn the elements of art and the principles of design through drawing, sculpture, painting and mixed media. Art classes are planned to meet the Alberta curriculum.
12 Mondays: Sept 14-Dec 7, no class on Oct 12 and Nov 9, in the case of a holiday a pre-recorded class will be substituted (i.e., on Oct 12 for Thanksgiving)
Class time: 1:00–2:00 pm if you are joining live, otherwise you will receive a recording that you can do anytime that week. Recordings are kept for 10 days, but then need to be deleted due to space and size of the recordings.
$90/ household plus a basic supply list. Pricing reduced as this class would have started on Easter weekend.

If more students are in the same household, they can participate too for one paid fee. Please don’t share outside of your household.
Before the class each week you will receive an email with the following information: a summary of this weeks project, a template to print out if required, a list of supplies to have ready to go and the zoom link.
During the class students will be able to follow along with Tina Bourassa. Students will be able to ask for help, show off their work and get step by step instructions.
After the class we will email you a link that you can replay for 14 days.
You’ll need a device that you can access the internet with a camera. Phones, tablets, laptops and chromebooks are ideal.

Parented Art Class (Ages 2–5)
This 45-minute class is designed for little artists and their caregivers. The adult will participate alongside the student and help guide them. Each session includes guided time to learn art basics as well as free exploration time to spark creativity. The format will stay the same but each session will have brand new projects!
In Person Classes for children Grades 1-6

Teen Art
Teen art (ages 13-17)
Mondays, 430-6, September 14-December 7, no class on Oct 12 for Thanksgiving
In-Person $145 includes supplies.
Online $100 per household, a supply list will be provided.
This in person/online hybrid class will cover drawing, rendering, watercolour painting, chalk, oil pastel and more. In-Person students will work off camera, Tina will be recording herself doing the instruction and project.
If you can’t attend the class on the specific date a video replay will be available of each class for 10 days. Some students have also found a replay helpful while they complete the project. This replay will be available to both in-person/online students. If students are ill we ask that they stay home to keep everyone well, they can then do the recording so they don’t miss out.
