Megan Kumpula is a contemporary abstract artist living in Spruce Grove, Alberta. She graduated from MacEwan University in Theatre Production in 2006 where she learned an astonishing amount of creative skills to paint, build, and design productions. She currently works at the Edmonton Opera as the Head Scenic Artist and Head of Props department. There she gets to paint theatre sets at a large scale and has learned various paint techniques for the main stage. Megan has been making art since a very young age, and once she found her love for painting, she instantly started experimenting with different types of paints, textures, mediums, and effects- this has continued through the years!
