A call for artists to create new pieces from what was before. What does this mean? We’d love to be surprised. Maybe it’s a piece you have and photograph the “beginning” and rework into another. Maybe it’s using a tool in an unusual way. Maybe it’s doing what you do but with a totally different material? Maybe it’s the first painting you ever did and you’re ready to re-do it? (it would be great if we could tell that story with images) Transform, create, redux…

1. Eligibility

Open to any Albertan Artist over 18 years of age.

2. Dates, Times and Location

Entry Deadline: April 6, 2024 including images emailed to alliedac@telus.net

Delivery of artwork (if applicable): Saturday April 20th, 2024 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

**All packaging materials must be removed at time of delivery. ** Deliver to the Gallery.

Reception:  Saturday April 27h, 1-3pm

Public Viewing: Tuesday, April 23, 2024 – Friday, May 10, 2024

Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Saturday - 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Pick-up of all artwork - Saturday, May 11th, 2024, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

3. Entry form & Fee

Artists may submit up to three (3) works of art. Entry form must be completed and signed, and the artist’s submissions may be a combination of 2D and 3D. If possible please provide a “before” and “after” picture, even if the before picture is a detail of your raw materials. There is a $10 entry fee for this show, to help cover the reception and administration costs.
