CALL FOR THE
2017 MELCOR JURIED MEMBERS SHOW
Call for all current Allied Arts Council members Please mail or deliver your application to the Spruce Grove Art Gallery by February 25, 2017.
A motion was made and ratified in 2013 General Meeting changing this show from a true juried show to one in which each artist who enters will now be granted admittance of at least one piece of art.
Members bring in the actual art for the jurors to jury live, March 18, 2017, by 11:00 a.m. to the Program Room at the Gallery. Pickup pieces not chosen after 3 p.m. the same day.
NOTE: Granting of Awards: The granting of any or all awards in each of the categories is left totally to the discretion of the judge’s panel, and they will only grant awards to the art that they feel meets their standards and their selection is final and binding.
Please fill in the application form and send it to the Gallery no later than February 25, 2017, the deadline for entry. You may submit up to 3 pieces of art for jurying. One or more will be accepted.
When you bring your art in for jurying on March 18th by 11 a.m., please attach the tags to your art, using the supplied tags from the application form. Cover any visible artist signatures. Bring one easel for each piece of artwork you are submitting or book your easels through the Gallery – first come/first served. A list will be kept by Gallery admin. You must have an easel for your artwork for jurying. At 3 p.m. come back to pick up any pieces that were not selected. You are guaranteed one piece to be accepted.
The show will run March 21 – April 14, 2017, with the opening reception will be held March 25th from 1- 3 p.m.

NOTE: To all Artists: It is the artists own responsibility to provide Insurance Coverage for all art accepted and hanging in the Spruce Grove Art Gallery.
