Art in the Afternoon
The Allied Arts Council of Spruce Grove is proud to offer this program free of charge to any soul in our community who wishes to spend the afternoon entranced in the skills of our talented instructors.
Our qualified instructors, most of which will be offering classes in the fall, can share their process and abilities with the public.
Come and spend a Thursday afternoon with us, learn something new, have a coffee, relax and enjoy Art in the Afternoon.

Sharon Moore-Foster
“Art is a process, as is life. You acquire new bits of information and integrate them with the old, as well as surrender to the present with a bizarre sense of, "Okay, let's go". I communicate through various media: The steel is raw, unfinished strong industrial material. The drawings are curious organic investigations into human form and essence. The clay yields to gentle guidance; upon firing, it manifests enduring strength.” |
July 23 - 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Twyla McGann
You'll never see papier mache the same way again. Watch as Twyla demonstrates how to use this material as a fine art sculpting medium.
